This is my #3 post on medium. It has been a few days since I posted anything. For those who don’t know me, I am a 3rd-year computer science, undergrad. I am here to share my thoughts on “What’s your why?”

I have heard different stories both for having a purpose and against it. I don’t fully relate to both theories. I can’t just be like that I have some defined purpose that I have to find somewhere. On the other hand, I cannot be someone who doesn’t care at all.

I believe in the curiosity and excitement that I feel when I am doing something. That’s my fuel and one of my strengths. But we often tend to make the Happiness Mistake, choosing materialistic things over things that make us feel more alive.

I want to live every day where things that I do make me excited and make me feel closer to my true self. He is a guy who loves numbers, the one who is excited when he goes swimming or plays volleyball, the one who listens to Sufi music on repeat, the one who likes going to mountains as much as going to beaches, the one who is always devoted to growth and happiness.

I feel I may have left some of these things behind. But there’re present, someday they will come out. That’s the day I’ll shine bright. Anyways, stay tuned.
